mmanuel Lutheran School is a nationally accredited school and was established in 1958 to provide a full-time Christian education to families of the congregation and community for over 50 years. Emmanuel Lutheran School is a member of the largest national system of Protestant schools in North America, totaling over 2,800 preschools, elementary schools, secondary schools, and colleges. ELS is operated as a non-profit, church-sponsored educational ministry of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Asheville, NC.

Our school is staffed with Christian teachers. All lead teachers in the Early Childhood Program hold a minimum of an Associates Degree. All teachers in K-8 hold 4-year BS/BA degrees or advanced degrees.
