“BLOOM” is the campaign slogan we have selected for our very special effort we are making to enhance Emmanuel Lutheran Church and School.
 The letters, broken out as an acronym, stand for “Bringing to the Lord Our Offerings for Ministry.” Our goal is to glorify God through the special places He has provided us, Emmanuel Lutheran Church and School. Each of us brings faith, talent and expectation to our community. God’s charge to us is to use the example of His Son, Jesus Christ, and the empowerment of His Holy Spirit in us to reach out in love to others and to achieve great things in His Name.
Emmanuel Lutheran School has a tremendous reputation in our community. So much so, that our Early Childhood Education Program always seems to have a substantial waiting list. This waiting list represents children that need to be nurtured with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The opportunities are so great if we can minister to these children and build lasting Christian relationships with their families. We want to step out in faith and expand our campus through the following:
a. A new classroom extension building to provide more ability to accept the many young children on our waiting list. This building will include 6 new classrooms, adequate restrooms, office space for the Elementary School Director and secretary, and an entry foyer.
b. A covered walkway connecting the Church to the CEC which will include a “Drop Off” feature.
c. A playground revamp including fencing which saves as much as possible from our wonderful current playground while meeting the State of North Carolina standards. This expansion will allow Emmanuel Lutheran School to admit fifty additional students of the ninety who are now on our waiting list.
