Hours spent in volunteering for study hall will count towards mandatory hours during concessions/admissions and tournament needs. Mr. Schmelzle emphasized the support from Administration in the event of disciplinary needs and that the period was designated as a study period. Reminder: All practices are closed.

III. Banner Program
JA has provided Banner Brochures to the offices in both school and church. One person has contacted AJ in regard to purchase for this year, JA has one to purchase and TB has one which may. Mr. Schmelzle woould like to have a similar program for the fence surrounding the Athletic Field and the possibility of having the field named for someone who would donate the costs of preparing the field for play. Mr. Schmelzle aslo suggested that we examine having a sample banner made for display in the gymnasium with information posted for who to contact for ordering. AJ will contact Fast Signs.

IV. Popcorn Machine
Discussion was held as to feasibility of purchasing a popcorn machine for the Booster Club. Tabled until a later date.

V. Parent -vs- Child Volleyball Tournament
Would like to sponsor a volleyball tournament/game between the parents and children. No decision reached at this time.

VI. Pictures
AJ will e-mail KSpradlin in regard to what type of photograph packages we can provide to parents. BArrowood stated that Sam's Club now has Sports Packages of frames which we could purchase for that use. We need to look into photographs to sell as buttons and packages for Grandparents Day. JA will research into buttons and what is involved. Tabled for next meeting when more information is available. Aj stated that Cube Creative has added a Photo Gallery to the school web site where photographs will be available for viewing and purchase soon. Catagories are added for Sports, Music/Drama and Class Activties.

VII. Medical Registrations and Fees
No child may participate in sports programs unless medical registrations have been completed and fees paid to the school.

VIII. Basketball Tournament
Tournament will be held weekend of February 16 and 17. Need to assess fees to participating schools to cover the expenses. Would like to sell T shirts for this event which read, "ELS 2nd Annual Basketball Tournament". Need someone to accept that responsibility. It was agreed that all teams particpating would be notified that a grade level limit will be in effect for the tournament. No player older than 9th grade may particpate in order to ensure fairness in competition. All sports program parents will be assigned work hours during the tournament, regardless of the sport which their child(ren) may participate in.
