Riverbanks Zoo Overnight Trip:
We have an exciting opportunity to go on an overnight trip to the Riverbanks Zoo. Here are some details:
- It will be February 4th
- The cost is $42 for adults and kids each. The pack with cover $10 of the cubs admission.
- We will spend all day Saturday in the zoo, leave to eat dinner, the head back for the program.
- Participants must be six year old or older. No younger siblings permitted.
- We will be sleeping on the floor in our 3-D auditorium or education classrooms. Air mattresses are allowed and recommended for adults only due to space limitations. Sleeping mats are available for participants if desired.
- No showers.
- "I SURVIVED THE NIGHT AT RIVERBANKS ZOO" glow-in-the-dark T-Shirts will be for sale, $15 each.
- They also offer the Riverbanks logo patch for $4 each.

Its Pinewood Derby Time & Scout Sunday!

Join us for worship on Scout Sunday, February 12th. More information to come or ask your den leader.
Join us Sunday February 12th @ 3pm in the ELCS Gym! Get your derby car for $5 at the scout store and craft it into an exciting car to race agains the rest of your pack. Cars must be constructed using the pinewood derby kit from the scout store, precut kit cars are not allowed. More information on rules for the derby can be obtained from your den leader. Join us for food, fun and prizes!
Meetings:
Meetings for the 2011/2012 school year will be on Monday's @ 5:30 for all dens.
Please see your den's page for specific meeting times and dates.
***Please Note: Scouts should be prepared to pay their BSA registration fee and pack due's for the 1st semester or full year at the first meeting***

Dues: Dues are $60 per 12 month year. This money goes toward badges, recognition and activities. You can pay per semester or all at once. Please make checks payable to Emmanuel Lutheran School (memo-Pack 58).
FYI: If anyone is in need of financial assistance or know a boy that may be interested in Cubs but needs financial help, please contact Robin or Julie. The Council has programs so all boys can participate. They can assist with dues and uniforms.
Attention Adult Volunteers and Tiger Parents: Please complete the "Youth Protection Training" on the Boy Scout website. Go to My Scouting and register, then do the online course. Print out the page that says "Congratulations, you passed" and return it to the Pack. The website is having problems and won't record the course. So please print out the page. Thanks.
